Please be aware that as of 1st October 2020, we will NO LONGER be accepting repeat medication requests over the telephone. We will be reverting back to our usual way of requesting medication prior to Covid-19.

This is mainly due to the easing of Government Covid-19 restrictions. However it is also to potential errors that are caused by confusion with drug name pronunciation and the pressure it puts on the phone lines and staff. click here for more info on how You can request your repeat medication

Flu clinic plan 2020

This year we have to factor in social distancing into our flu vaccination clinics so we are introducing new systems to keep everyone safe. There WILL NOT be any drop in clinics this year and all appointments MUST be in a pre-bookable slot. click here for more info

We are holding weekend clinics on

12th, 13th Sep 2020.

10th, 11th Oct 2020

During the month of November 2019 we will be changing to a new computer system. Unfortunately this may result in some disruption but we are aiming to keep this to a minimum.

For the period 12 November 2019 to 19 November 2019 inclusive we will be unable to offer routine appointments.  We will run an emergency surgery for urgent medical problems.

To cause as little disruption to our repeat prescription service We are  asking patients who are on repeat prescriptions to order early if they are likely to need a prescription during the period 12 November 2019 to 19 November 2019

Everyone in the practice requires training in order to use our new system.  We commence Training on Monday 11 November 2019 and this will continue through and after the Go Live Day, 20 November 2019.  Please be aware that members of staff and doctors may not be available at all times to enable them to have protected time for training.

We go live with our new computer system on Tuesday 19 November 2019.  We will still only be able to offer an emergency service for this day while we prepare everything ready for Wednesday 20 November 2019.

Please understand that once we are working live with the new system, after the 19 November 2019, surgeries and clinics may run behind as doctors and nurses may take a bit longer during their consultations while they get used to working with our new computer system.

Also Reception staff may take a moment longer than usual to deal with the public while they get familiar with our new computer system.  As a result of this you may find that there is a need to queue but staff will get to you as quickly as they can.
