Covid-19 Vaccination Programme

PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS

Please be aware that as of 1st October 2020, we are no longer accepting repeat medication requests over the telephone. We will be reverting back to our usual way of requesting medication prior to Covid-19.

This is due to potential errors that are caused by confusion with drug name pronunciation and the pressure it puts on the phone lines and staff. Please click here for more info on how you can request your repeat medication.

When We Are Closed

red_clockPatients calling the practice outside those hours (i.e. between 6.30pm and 8am weekdays and from 6.30pm Friday to 8am Monday) will be asked to hang up and call NHS 111 for urgent care or call 999 in the case of an emergency.

NHS 111

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS 111 (dial 111 from your phone) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
