This is due to potential errors that are caused by confusion with drug name pronunciation and the pressure it puts on the phone lines and staff. Please click here for more info on how you can request your repeat medication. 

Repeat Prescriptions


Please be aware 


You can request your repeat medication by the following methods

  • Using your repeat slip (right hand side of green prescription) – ticking the items you need to order be posted in the box located outside the surgery entrance

  • Online via our website  IF you have signed up for online services.

  • By signing up for the NHS App,


(Please bear in mind that the NHS App & our online services are two separate services).

Please note, you MUST allow 48 hours for your request to be processed.

There is no need to contact the surgery to ask if your prescription is ready.

If you have allowed the 48 hours, processing time, your prescription will be ready for collection from either your chosen pharmacy, or the surgery if you don't have a nominated pharmacy. 

If there are any queries or issues in issuing your repeat prescriptions, we will contact you directly. 

If you do come into the surgery to collect your prescription, we ask that you, please, follow the Government guidelines and wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing rules.
